Loretta Lynch Threatens to Prosecute “Anti-Muslim Rhetoric” – So This Former Congressman Calls Her Bluff
Before the San Bernardino shooting victims bodies were cold, Attorney General Loretta Lynch mounted her liberal political correctness high horse.
She issued a stern warning to anyone who used anti-Muslim rhetoric:
“Now obviously this is a country that is based on free speech, but when it edges towards violence, when we see the potential for someone lifting that mantle of anti-Muslim rhetoric—or, as we saw after 9/11, violence directed at individuals who may not even be Muslims but perceived to be Muslims, and they will suffer just as much—when we see that we will take action,” said Lynch.
Thankfully, not all Americans are buying the Attorney General’s call for political correctness.
Former U.S. Congressman Joe Walsh has completely unleashed on Attorney General Loretta Lynch for vowing to prosecute those who use “anti-Muslim speech.” What he has to say is so profoundly passionate, and it will have him going down in the history books — or land him in jail.
“You know what? You’re worried about a backlash against Muslims? Fourteen Americans were killed three days ago, and you come out the next day and say your greatest fear is anti-Muslim backlash. Well, you know what? I hope there is a backlash. There should be a backlash. I’m going to encourage a backlash. And you know what, Loretta Lynch? If that bothers you, prosecute me. Throw me in jail.”
Joe Walsh is absolutely right.
Loretta Lynch is without a doubt wrong.
The First Amendment gives any and all of us the right to speak our minds about radical Islam.
Even if it’s filled with hate.
The First Amendment gives us the freedom to speak out about government policies.
Even if Obama and all the politically correct liberals disagree.
