Waters hits NEW low with threat
“Donald Trump’s tweets incite violence.” “The rhetoric of the Trump administration causes crazies to act out the violent fantasies.” These are common talking points from the left in America, yet truths about who’s saying what and who’s acting on it paint an entirely different story.
Patriotic Americans can’t assemble in a city park to show support for their president without masked leftist Antifa punks showing up and throwing fists. Black Lives Matter blocking highways. Fools rioting and burning college campuses to prevent conservative speakers. Crazed socialist Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson went hunting Republicans and critically wounded a U.S. Congressman. Where is the left’s criticism of real violence in our streets?
Such criticism certainly won’t be coming from (Congress’ most corrupt member) Maxine Waters who rather than tone it down yesterday decided to expand her constant onslaught of hateful rhetoric beyond just Donald Trump and start publicly hating on members of Trump’s cabinet too. The latest object of Auntie Maxine’s constant state of rage? Housing and Urban Development Secretary and fellow African-American Dr. Ben Carson.
In yet another hate-filled rant, this time at a festival in New Orleans, Waters made the proclamation that she is going to “take his ass apart.”
As reported by The Hill:
“Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) ripped into Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson in a speech Saturday, saying Carson “doesn’t care about people in public housing.”
“[Carson] knows nothing about the mission of HUD,” Waters said in a speech at the Essence Festival in New Orleans. “He doesn’t care about people in public housing. He believes that if you are poor, it is your own fault. And he doesn’t know the difference between an immigrant and a slave.”
Waters was referring to Carson’s remarks at a March event for HUD employees in which he referred to slaves brought to America as “immigrants.”
“That’s what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity,” Carson had said. “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”
