Obama Just Said Something that Should Make Everybody Very, Very Worried
There’s no doubt about it, being the President of one of the most dynamic and important countries in the world can be stressful.
To successfully lead it takes dedication and an awareness of international politics that can only be obtained through diligent study and a consistent work ethic.
Which might explain why the U.S. is in shambles.
Every single morning Obama likes to watch ESPN. He’d prefer not to get “overwhelmed” by politics.
In an interview with ESPN radio host Colin Cowherd, Obama said, “Listen, I spend most of my time watching ESPN in the morning. I get so much politics I don’t, you know, want to be inundated with a bunch of chatter about politics during the day.”
So during the day he doesn’t want to worry about doing his job.
You know if you wanted to just kick back for the first few hours of the work day that’d probably be fine.
Of course, nothing would get done, but that’s okay, surely your boss would understand.
As IJreview notes:
The Washington Free Beacon notes that the Government Accountability Institute reported Obama has missed 62.5 percent of his daily intelligence briefings during his presidency. The White House has responded to such reports by arguing that written reports are as effective as briefings.
The most troubling aspect to this admission isn’t the president likes to watch ESPN. It’s that he’s comfortable admitting this on live radio while the nation spirals down the tubes.
Don’t forget either the president spends quite a bit of time on the golf course either. He’s gone 192 times since he was sworn into office.
And to be truthful, it almost seems like he’d rather be doing anything but leading the country into a new a era of prosperity.
Just the other day he appeared on the Colbert Report to make fun of conservatives while pushing people to sign up for his socialist healthcare plan.
These are not the characteristics the leader of the free world should possess.
Obama shouldn’t be concerned about his image, or even who won the World Series. He should be dutifully focused on how to help pull the country out of the toilet.
But then again, for Obama, it’s never been about helping anyone.
Behind the scenes there’s something much more sinister, far more nefarious going on.
